iron ore

Iron ore is not merely a commodity; it is the molecular backbone of modern civilization. From skyscrapers to surgical tools, 98% of all mined iron ore finds its final form as steel

Iron Ore Fines/Lumps

Iron Ore Fines and Lumps are the traditional and widely utilized forms of raw material feeding the global steel industry, primarily used in Sintering Plants and Blast Furnaces (BF).

At OBCL Ventures, we ensure a consistent supply of both Fines and Lumps, meeting international standards for quality and physical characteristics:

Iron Ore Fines: These are the smallest particles (typically below 10mm or often 6mm), usually processed further into sinter or pellets before charging into the furnace. Our fines are sourced for optimal chemical composition, offering low deleterious element content and ideal sintering characteristics, ensuring a cost-effective solution for sinter plant operations.

Iron Ore Lumps: These are coarse, naturally occurring chunks of iron ore with a specific size range (typically 6mm to 40mm). Our lumps boast high mechanical strength and excellent reducibility, making them a premium feedstock that contributes directly to higher productivity and lower coke rates in the Blast Furnace.
